Whereas the 14th amendment Privileges and Immunities provides privleges of national citizenship. Due process-substantive and procedural Due Process. Fundamental Rights Equal Protection.

Civil Liberties

First Amendment Law The First Amendment of the Constitution is the source of law as it relates to the civil liberty of the American constituency that grants the right of the people to freedom of speech, free exercise of religion, government endorsement of religion, peacable assembly, and more. However, there are limits on the rights.

 

Right to Privacy Law The Right to Privacy was established under Penumbras of the Constitution. Abortion rights were founded under the rights of privacy as established in Griswald v. Connecticut (1965). The court later granted the right to an abortion in Roe v. Wade (1971). The right to privacy is currently a fundamental right protected by strict scrutiny. However this could change if the make up of the court shifts right.
